Location Costa Calma

Costa Calma (Spanish for calm coast) is a village that is used as a holiday resort in the Canarian island of Fuerteventura. Costa Calma is located in the beginning of the Jandía peninsula in the southern part of the island.

Costa Calma is a touristic community in which brought tourism in the 1970s which created famous hotels and also brought in restaurants as well as businesses which brought economic development to the vicinity of Costa Calma. Also a park exists today, from the clear waters that is watered from the hotel, the flora of the area are listed as endangered species.

Costa Calma is a southern facing coast of Fuerteventura, about 40 kilometres south west of the airport and Puerto del Rosario. The main beach, Playa de Sotaveno, is a sandy beach, safe for children and popular with wind surfers. The town has some eight commercial centres with shops, bars, pubs and restaurants. In the main, entertainment in the evening is restricted to that provided by the hotels, thus the resort is suitable for couples or families seeking a quiet holiday.

Exit the airport and you will incorporate onto the FV2
Pas the Gran Tarajal roundabout and continue straight in the direction of Jandía (Morro Jable)

Go through anouther 5 roundabouts

Continue untill you see the Costa Calma exit
At the second small square in Costa Calma, after passing a petrol station, turn left.
Turn right at the next stop sign and then left at the second roundabout
At the next crossroad, go left, and you will be at Morasol.
